This vintage McCall's CookBook was bagged at our local Goodwill on dollar day. This book is in excellent condition and brought $29.99 + shipping on Etsy. Be sure to take a look through the cookbook section for vintage finds like this.
We always look for the bread machines, especially the higher end brands, like Hitachi, Welbilt or Zojirushi. We have found a clean and working Zojirushi bread machine for $1 and sold the whole machine for $79.99 + shipping.
These Subaru keyless remotes were given to us by a friend who no longer had this particular car. Both were is full working condition and fetched a nice $36.99. Yet another good thing to be on the hunt for while thrifting, picking and Goodwill hunting.
Replacement remotes from the factory car maker are NOT cheap and people are always looking for an affordable option.
In a previous post, we talked about parting out a free dishwasher that was given to us. This is one of those parts that recently sold on Amazon, the main computer board.
Microwave turn-table plates are always a good standby item for picking as well. Even when it's not dollar day at our Goodwill, these plates can be picked up for cheap and resell pretty well. Again, these are items that aren't cheap from the manufacturer when purchased brand new. These tend to get broken and used ones make great, inexpensive replacements.
We hope this post gives you some idea of a few of the items we look for while out thrifting, picking and Goodwill hunting. We also try to share some of the actual sales that have taken place over the last couple of weeks in order to show real sales numbers and not inflated estimates on what we think things will sell for.
Please share any thoughts or ideas you have in the comments below.
